ART OF WORDS Poets' Open Mic In-Person
This popular monthly event, co-hosted by Tamell "Big" Bailey and CathyB, is a great opportunity for adults and young adults to practice performance skills in front of a small audience, receive feedback, and get inspiration for creating new works. Except for the featured artist, individual performances are limited to 3 minutes and may be on any “radio friendly” topic. If time allows, additional performances may be invited.

Featured Poet
Jukwan Brooks is an entrepreneur, author, and poet from Thomson, GA. He recently released his second novel The Adventures of a High School Scholar. From being a High School dropout at 15, GED graduate at 17, and graduating from College at 20. Jukwan is living proof that you can be successful -- no matter where you come from or what you have been through in life.
